Eagle 25th Anniversary Silver
Coin graded PR70
First Strike by PCGS from the United States Mint.  This coin
has been graded a perfect 70 by the leading third party grading service,
PCGS.  Also, the coin has the PCGS special designation of
"First Strike" and "25th Anniversary Set".  This
coin is from the extremely
popular five coin set which sold out at the United States Mint
in approximately 5 hours.

 

This coin is one of the keys of the
American Silver Eagle series.  This is only the second year
the reverse proof coin has been minted by the United States
Mint.  In a PCGS PR70, First Strike, 25th Anniversary
holder, this coin has exceptional potential of increasing in
value over the years.

of the American Eagle Silver Coin Program, the United States
Mint is proud to present this unique limited-edition set of five
one-ounce American Eagle Silver Coins. This special American
Eagle Silver Five-Coin Set is an exquisite collection that
captures the essence and beauty of these cherished coins – in
stunning proof, reverse proof, uncirculated and bullion
qualities minted by the Department of the Treasury, United
States Mint facilities at West Point, San Francisco and
Philadelphia.  The set contains one each of the following 2011
dated coins:

Program Information:

In 1986, the Secretary
of the Treasury selected a modern rendition of famed sculptor
Adolph A. Weinman’s magnificent Walking Liberty as the design to
grace the obverse of American Eagle Silver Coins.  The Walking
Liberty design was originally prepared and executed for the
circulating half-dollar in 1916. The obverse design features an
ever-hopeful Lady Liberty striding confidently toward the
sunrise, draped in the strength of the Stars and Stripes,
carrying branches of laurel and oak in her arms to symbolize
both civil and military glory.

The reverse design of
the American Eagle Silver Coins, by former United States Mint
Sculptor-Engraver John Mercanti, features a striking heraldic
eagle with shield, an olive branch in the right talon and arrows
in the left.

Ordering Limits:

A limit of five
(5) sets per household is
in effect for the first week of this product’s release.  At the
end of this period, the United States Mint will re-evaluate this
limit and either extend, adjust or remove it.
